Dakota James Efird

Albemarle, NC- Dakota James Efird, 21, son of Timothy Lionell Efird and Linda Sue Miller Averre, died Sunday, September 24, 2017. In addition to his parents, Dakota is survived by his brothers, Dylan and Daniel Efird; step father, Jonathan Averre; maternal grandparents, James and Sieglinde Miller; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Martha Efird of Stanfield, NC; and step grandparents, Robert and Carolyn Averre. Dakota was predeceased by a son, Jacobi James Efird; and paternal grandmother, Sylvia Efird. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 29th, 1-2PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at 2PM. Burial will be held in Heritage Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Evans Training Center, c/o Hope Church, 102 John Dodd Road, Spartanburg, South Carolina, SC 29303.
