Daniel Eugene Petty   Moore, SC - Daniel Eugene Petty, 45, son of Clarence Daniel and Donna Boyter Petty, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018.     Dan had a passion for all types of music and playing guitar.  Anyone who knew him, knew he loved the rock band Journey. He loved sharing his faith in God with anyone would listen.  Despite several health problems he endured during his short life, he was always kind and giving to others.   In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by his son, Daniel Boyter Petty, (Kendra) of Moore, SC; a sister, Dana Petty Everett (Stacey) of Nashville, TN; a niece, Brynn Everett, and a nephew, Cohen Everett.   Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 14th, at 2:00 pm at Poplar Springs Baptist Church cemetery.  The service will be officiated by Rev. Dr. Dale Roach and Rev. Dr. David Walker.   In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to Bethel Colony of Mercy, 1675 Bethel Colony Road, Lenoir, NC  28645.
