Darrell Scott Lowe

Darrell Scott Lowe Pacolet – Darrell Scott Lowe, 55, husband of Betty Stafford Lowe, entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Darrell was born in Spartanburg on November 24, 1963, to the late Glyn Lowe and Martha Weeks Taylor (Dewitt). He attended Boiling Springs High School. Darrell enlisted and was honorably discharged from the US Army. He was a commercial painter for Glyn C Babb Paint Contractor and Furman Babb Painting Contractor. He was an avid football fan who loved the Clemson Tigers and the Pittsburg Steelers.  Darrell was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter, Shannon L. Thornton; sister, Darlene L. Rhinehart (Ray); two stepchildren, Miranda Moss, Jeffrey Moss (Stevie) and his beloved dog, Bam Bam. Darrell was blessed with five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his nephew, Stephen Crocker and his lifelong friend Louie Thornton. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Monday, December 17, 2018, at Dunbar Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Dunbar Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Lindsey Inman. The family will be at the home of his sister.
