David R Ivey

Moore, SC- Dr. David R. Ivey, DC, 64, husband of Shyrl Pace Ivey, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Born May 4, 1954 in Greenville, SC, David was a son of David H. Ivey and the late Catherine Gregory Ivey. He was a graduate of Pacolet High School and Sherman Chiropractic College, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. David was the owner of Ivey Chiropractic since 1976. In addition to his wife, Shyrl, and his father, David H. Ivey, David is survived by his sons, David H. Ivey, II and Gabriel O’Sullivan; his grandchildren, Luke and Gabrielle Ivey, Avery, Isaac, and Tyson O’Sullivan; his sister, Donna Ivey; his stepmother, Barbara Ivey; and step sisters, Beverly Suthers and Robin Curtis He was predeceased by a son, Blake Ivey. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 24th, 5-7PM at First Baptist North Spartanburg. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 25th, 3:00PM at First Baptist North Spartanburg, officiated by Reverend Dr. Mike Hamlet.
