Diomedes Torres

Diomedes Torres, aged 82, passed away on October 25, 2024, in Spartanburg, S.C. Born on August 16, 1942, Diomedes was known for his hardworking, loyal, strong character, and his deep commitment as a family man. He was a loving figure to all who knew him.
Diomedes leaves behind a loving family, survived by his daughters Daisy (Ramon) Oquendo and Belinda (Edwin Sr.) Oquendo, and his son David Torres. He was a proud grandfather to Edwin (Lori) Oquendo Jr., Daniel (Theresa) Oquendo, Krystal (Daniel) Ortiz, Jessica Oquendo, Jonathan (Amanda) Schiavo, Rebecca Oquendo, David Torres, Penelope Torres, Diomedes Torres, and Gabriel Torres, as well as a cherished great-grandfather to 13 great-grandchildren. Diomedes was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Milta Torres, and son, Ricky Torres.
 A graveside service will take place at Shiloh Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Following the service, the family will receive friends at the home of Belinda Oquendo.
