Donald Paul Garvey

Spartanburg, SC- Donald Paul Garvey, 59, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born September 17, 1963 in Bridgeport, CT, Donald was the son of Elmer Franklyn Garvey and Mary Kathleen Sharpe Garvey.

Donald worked as the maintenance operations manager at the Adidas distribution center for 15 years. Donald was an avid outdoorsman and classic rock lover, enjoying hiking, whitewater rafting, and concerts with his daughter most of all. 

Donald is survived by his daughter, Anna Kathleen “Kate” Garvey, sister, Kimberly Ann Hathaway, mother, Mary Kathleen Sharpe Garvey, and nieces and nephew, Courtney Murray Pinnell, Jennifer Murray Piñones, Stephanie Fallon Reagan, and Brendan Michael Murray.

He is predeceased by his sister, Robin Kathleen Murray, and father, Elmer Franklyn Garvey.

Services will be held Friday, September 15th, 2:00PM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. The family will receive friends following in the conference room.
