Spartanburg – Doris Mae Hargett Millwood, 79, devoted wife of the late Johnny Leland Millwood for 32 years, died Friday, October 1, 2021.

She was born on November 14, 1941to the late Brady and Myrtle Wallen Hargett. Doris retired from Parker-Hannifin Corp after 25 years of service.  She had a love of gardening and fishing at lake Greenwood. Doris loved her fur babies and was a member of Glendale Baptist Church.

Doris is survived by a step-son, Jefre Millwood (Donna); daughter, Tammy Bradley; step-daughter, Susan Mathis; four sisters, Joyce Cantor, Edith Medlin, Elizabeth Belle Johnson, and Louise Painter-Ferland.

She was blessed with nine grandchildren, Jason Hooper, Tiffany Ellis, Autumn Jolly, Jefre Millwood, II, Brittany Lake, Jonathan Lake, Jr., Adam Lake, Jordy Waldrop, Ryan DeYoung; and nine great-grandchildren.

Doris was also predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Biggs; step-daughter, Jennifer Neal, and a sister, Dorothy Taylor.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, October 6, 2021at Heritage Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society: 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
