Dorothy Lee Seay Dill, 93, of Spartanburg, widow of the late James Herbert Dill, went home to be with lord on May 2nd, 2024. Dorothy was born on August 4th, 1930, to the late Albert Franklin and Rosa Emmerline Seay.
She was member of Canaan Baptist Church and a wonderful mother, who found her joy as a homemaker, maintaining the warm environment of the home for their family.
Dorothy is survived by her three sons: James Albert Dill(Diana) of Roebuck, Ricky Scott Dill of Roebuck, and Michael Keith Dill of Roebuck. Her legacy also lives on through her seven grandchildren: Kelly Moss of Roebuck, Kevin Moss of Jonesville, Josh Dill of Inman, Aaron Dill of Roebuck, Stacy Cothran of Roebuck, Melody Dill of Woodruff, and Wesley Dill of Roebuck. Additionally, she leaves behind eighteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, and her brothers, Julian Allen Seay and Larry Dean Seay. She is preceded in death by her daughter; Judy Darlene Moss, four sisters: Monnie Faye Riddle, Lois Edna Garrett, Annie Mae Seay, and Virgia Ereleen Towery, as well as her brother, Oliver Franklin Seay.
A graveside service honoring Dorothy's life will be held on May 7th, 2024, at 3 PM at Heritage Memorial Gardens, with the Reverend Todd Black officiating.
