Dorothy Street Humphries

Spartanburg, SC- Dorothy Street Humphries, 83, wife of the late Harold E. Humphries, died Monday, January 15, 2018. Born October 21, 1934 in Rutherfordton, NC, Dorothy was a daughter of the late George Young and Carrie Elizabeth Dotson Street. She was a member of Southport Baptist Church. Dorothy is survived by her son, Reverend Ladell Humphries and his wife, Mary Jane, of Hartsville, SC; her daughter, Terri Dillard of Spartanburg, SC; four grandchildren, Eddie and Jon Humphries, Chip and Anna-Claire Dillard; and eight great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 20th, 12-1PM at Southport Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1PM, officiated by Reverend James Blackwood. Burial will be held in Heritage Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 901 S. Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
