Edna Lee Thomas

Edna L. Thomas Spartanburg  Edna Lee Thomas, 85, wife of Dean Thomas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 30, 2018. Edna was born on June 2, 1933, a daughter of Charlie and Maude Taylor Lee. She retired from Spartanburg School District 6 as a Food Service Manager.  Edna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Golightly United Methodist Church for over sixty years. In addition to her husband of 67 years, Edna is survived by sons, Mike Thomas (Deborah), Jimmy Thomas (Sharon),and  Phil Thomas; daughter in law, Peggy Thomas. Edna leaves behind 7 Grandchildren,  14 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Children She was predeceased by a son, Jerry Thomas and her brother M.C. Lee A graveside service will be Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Heritage Memorial Gardens, officiated by the Reverend Marv Crow.  The family will receive friends immediately following the serviceat graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Ivy and Jude’s League, 537 Long Point Road, Mt.
