Edythe Craig Hendrix

Edythe Craig Hendrix, 91, widow of Thomas Martin Hendrix, of Spartanburg, SC died on Monday, December 18, 2023. Born in Gastonia, NC on September 22, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Pritchard Craig and Charles Erwin Craig. Mrs. Hendrix was a graduate of Sacred Heart College. She retired from S.C. School for the Blind. She is survived by her son, Craig Hendrix (girlfriend, Bonnie Silcox) of Spartanburg; daughter, Shelby Taylor (David) of Roebuck; grandchildren, Rob Taylor (Colleen) and Meg Chapman (Eric); and great-granddaughter, Maggie Chapman. Her graveside service will be held 12:00pm on Thursday, December 21, 2023 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, Sc 29307, conducted by Rev. Richard Thomas.
