Ernest Steven Skinner

Woodruff, SC- Ernest Steven “Steve” Skinner, 69, husband of Cynthia Burgess Skinner, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 3, 2022. Born December 29, 1952 in Cocoa Beach, FL, Steve was the son of the late Mary Gwinn Skinner and Reverend E. Wilkes Skinner. He attended Woodruff High School and the University of South Carolina where he received his degree in marketing. Steve was a skilled and talented signman. He owned and operated SCS Graphics, Inc./Don Johnson Signs in Spartanburg for 30 years. Steve was a member of Band of Brothers where he used his talent as a vocalist and guitarist to share the love of Christ through music. In addition to his wife, Cynthia, Steve is survived by his daughter, Ava Liana; and his beloved extended family. He was predeceased by his brother, James Stanley Skinner; and his sister, Mary Kathryn Skinner. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 9th, 12:30PM until 1:45PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at 2:00PM, officiated by Reverend Brian Burgess. Burial will be in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery.
