Greer, SC- Fonda Solesbee Kimbrell, 74, wife of the late Joe Kimbrell, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

Born January 21, 1949 in Greer, SC, Fonda was a daughter of the late Robert and Gladys Solesbee. She was a member of Church at The Mill.

Fonda was a cosmotologist and the owner and operator of Kimbrell’s Corner Beauty Shop. She loved her clients, her work, her family, and her beloved pups.

She is survived by her son, Blake Atkins (Amy) of Roebuck, SC and Joey Kimbrell (Autumn) of Inman, SC; grandchildren, Chase Kimbrell, Matthew Atkins, Nicholas Atkins, Piper, Adelyn, and Parker; eight great grandchildren; and two sisters, Robbie Ford and Marie Herring.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 13th, 10:00AM in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Greer, SC, officiated by Reverend John McCallum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
