Moore, SC- Frances DeYoung Genoble, 95, wife of the late Donald Genoble, died Saturday, July 8, 2017. Born October 27, 1921 in Greer, SC, Frances was a daughter of the late Ryan LaMont and Ethel Jeter DeYoung. She graduated from Spartanburg High School, Class of 1938, where she was voted class president, and Robinson’s Business College. Frances was a member of Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church where she participated in the Adult II Sunday School Class, acted as Class Secretary. She was also a Historian for Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church until 2001, Past President of the Roebuck Garden Club, a member of the Lunch Bunch Grays, Roebuck Improvement Association, Past Secretary, Treasurer, and taught Sunday School for many years. Frances is survived by her sons, Phillip L. Hyatt (Cathy) and John H. Hyatt; three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two step daughters, Joan G. Bishop and Wendy G. Rainmondis (Frank); four step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; and sisters in-law, Patricia Moore (Ralph) and Norma Genoble. In addition to her husband, Donald, Frances was predeceased by her first husband, Benny F. Hyatt. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 12th, 10-11AM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow in the Chapel at 11AM, officiated by Reverend Dr. D. J. Horton. Burial will be held in Heritage Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church, Building Fund, 4455 Anderson Mill Road, Moore, SC 29369.
