Frances Evelyn Williams

Frances “Evelyn” Williams of Spartanburg, South Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Born on December 23, 1925, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Carrie Brown Braziel and James Wesley Braziel. She was the wife of the late Albert K. “Tommy” Williams. Evelyn retired from Automatic Buffet/Coca Cola Bottling Company in 1978 after 22 years of service. She was a charter member of West Side Baptist Church in Spartanburg. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Linda Belcher (Carroll), Gail Boney (Ralph), and Janet Adams. She was MawMaw to four grandchildren, Haley Applegarth (Tripp), Edward Boney (Keri), Carey Martin (Jared), and Abby Adams; and two great grandchildren, Franklin Applegarth and Amelia Boney. She is also survived by her only sister, Mildred Ray. She was predeceased by four brothers, Wesley, Jay, Clyde, and Jack Braziel. Private graveside services will be held in Heritage Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
