Frederick Palfy, Jr.

Frederick “Freddy” Palfy Jr., 47, son of Paula Jean Young, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023. 

Born March 12, 1976 in Orrville Ohio, Freddy was a devoted pet owner. Throughout his life he found companionship with his beloved dogs, Bobo and Snooky.  

His family will remember him as a prankster with an uncanny sense of humor. Freddy’s greatest gift was bringing laughter to others.

In addition to his mother, Paula Young, Freddy is survived by his sister, Rosie Cothran, and her husband, Jason, and their children, Brandon Cothran and Taylor Cothran; his sister, Cathy Palfy, and her children, Tabitha Vitale and Anthony Price; along with his great nephew, Mason Kind. Freddy was predeceased by his father, Frederick Palfy, Sr.

In September 2022, Freddy became a born again Christian and accepted Jesus as his Savior. He attended the Rejoice Lutheran Church in Inman, SC.  

A Private Memorial will be held for immediate family and close friends only.
