Gail Lynn Schwartz

Spartanburg, SC- Gail Lynn Schwartz, 58, passed away Saturday afternoon at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones. Born on June 25th, 1959 in Sherman, Texas, to the late James Arthur Stauffer and Rebecca Anna Brandon Stauffer, Gail was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. She was an industrial engineer and website designer, but was mainly an incredibly devoted mother and friend, bringing joy and light to anyone who met her.   Gail is survived by her two sons, James Alan and Andrew Brandon of Spartanburg, SC; her brothers, David Stauffer of Huntsville, AL, and Paul Stauffer of Madison, WI; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 20th, 2017 at St. James United Methodist Church, with a visitation directly afterwards. Memorials may be made to the St. James United Methodist Church, 213 Lanford Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301, or to the charity of one’s choice. The family will be at the home of her children, 153 Harvest Brook Way, Spartanburg.
