Gary Francis Everette

Fairforest, SC- Gary Francis “Red” Everette, 85, died Monday, June 5, 2023 at his home.

Born March 20, 1938 in Spartanburg, SC, he was a son of the late Clarence Everette and Grace Huskey Everette. Red was an avid golfer and raced stock cars. He was a mason and temporarily worked for the coroner’s office and the Chesnee police department over the years. Red honorably served his country in the Army National Guard, retiring as Major after 22 years of service.

He was the owner of Red’s Grill in Fairforest, SC.

Red is survived by his son, Chris Everette (Mary Ann) of Roebuck, SC; his daughter, Gina Campbell (James) of Woodruff, SC; and his beloved grandchildren, Aaron Everette, Hailee Campbell, and Bryson Campbell.

He was predeceased by his brothers, James, Joe, Gus, and Rayford Everette.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 8th, 6-8PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 9th, 2:00PM in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, officiated by Reverend Dr. Todd Lowe.
