Gerald Michael Buffo

Spartanburg, SC- Gerald Michael Buffo, 74, husband of Laura Jeanne McGinnis Buffo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2023.

Born April 7, 1948 in the Greenfield area of Pittsburgh, PA, Jerry was a son of the late John J. Buffo and Frances Faye Gualtieri Buffo.

In addition to his wife, Laura, Jerry is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Buffo Morgan (Patrick); grandchildren, Joseph Patrick Morgan and Kara Faye Morgan; a brother, John J. Buffo, Jr. and his wife, Karen; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and in laws including mother in law, Shirley McGinnis.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Spartanburg Regional Hospice and all of his caretakers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 20th, 10:00AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. The family will receive friends following the Mass in the narthex of the church.

Interment will be on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11:00AM at Calvary Cemetery in Greenfield, PA. All family and friends are welcome.
