Geraldine Grogan Pace

Spartanburg, SC- Geraldine Grogan Pace was born May 14, 1928. She went home to be with the Lord Saturday evening, September 16, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband, James C. Pace; a grandson, Blake J. Ivey; and three great granddaughters, Sophie, Reece and Vivian O’Sullivan. Geraldine was the last surviving member of the Asa and Effie Grogan family of Canton, NC. She had eight brothers and sisters. Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Shyrl P. Ivey, (husband, David); two grandsons, Gabriel O’Sullivan (wife, Ryanne) and David H. Ivey; and 5 great grandchildren, Gabrielle and Luke Ivey and Avery, Isaac and Tyson O’Sullivan. She had many nieces and nephews that were so special to her. Her beloved niece, Jan Coriarty has been her primary care giver for the last three years. We will always be grateful to her for all her love and support to “Nanny” and to us. We could not have done without her. A service honoring Geraldine’s life will be held Tuesday, September 19th, 11:00AM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Family visitation will be after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church, Building Fund, 4455 Anderson Mill Road, Moore, SC 29369.
