Harold Lewis Harmon Spartanburg – Harold Lewis Harmon, 73, husband of Rosalind A. Harmon, died Saturday, December 29, 2018. Harold was born on February 26, 1945, to the late Cleatus Alvin and Annie Messer Harmon. Born and raised in Pacolet, Harold was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, class of 1963. He served a church building mission from 1964 to 1965. Harold was employed with Lockwood-Greene Engineering Inc. for over forty years. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served as Bishop, Stake High Counselor, Stake Young Men's President, Boy Scout Leader, Missionary for Brigham Young University Pathway Program, Sunday School teacher and participated in many Mormon Helping Hands disaster relief assignments. He loved and knew his Savior, Jesus Christ. In addition to his wife of 52 years, Harold is survived by three sons, Michael Harmon (Teri), Aaron Harmon (Carrie), Matthew Harmon (Erin); daughter, Ranee H. Martin (Jeremy); and a sister, Pat H. Wren (Carl). He was blessed with ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Dunbar Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 121 Quail Dr., Spartanburg, SC.
