Harriet Byrd Hogle

Spartanburg, SC- Harriet June Byrd Hogle, 73, wife of the late Robert “Duke” Hogle, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018, peacefully at her home. Born June 14, 1945 in Alton, IL, Harriet was a daughter of the late Arlie R. and Mary Metcalf Byrd. She is survived by her sons, Rob Hogle of Granite City, IL and Chris Hogle (Christina) of Inman, SC; grandchild, Paige Hogle; brothers, Ralph Byrd of Godfrey, IL and Harold Byrd of Quincy, IL; and sisters, Arline Pauly of Mercer, OH, Jeray Seymore of Atlanta, GA, and Maridell Blythe of Campobello, SC. In addition to her husband, Harriet was predeceased by her brothers, Harry and William Byrd; and her sister, Grace Hosey.
