Helen Falls Cathcart

Moore, SC- Helen Falls Cathcart, 93, wife of the late Dean McLauren Cathcart, Jr., died Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Born June 18, 1924 in Union, SC, Helen was a daughter of the late William L. Falls and Lillian Dill Falls Owens. After many years of service, she retired from Arkwright Mills. Helen was a longtime member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Helen is survived by her son, Michael Cathcart, Sr. (Karen); her daughter, Deborah Seay (Dennis); grandchildren, Mindy Gossett (David), Michael Cathcart, Jr. (Mandy), and Jennifer Wall (Kris); great grandchildren, Dash Gossett, Emma Cathcart, Dean Wall, and Colton Wall; a sister, Ernestine Hopkins; step sister, Millie Ramsey; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 10th, 11AM at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will be private in the church cemetery. Viewing will be available one hour prior to the service at the church. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Debbie Seay.
