Helen Lucille Cochran

Helen Lucille Cochran died peacefully on Sunday, October 13th, 2024. She was a shining light to her family and a faithful follower of Christ. She was faithfully married to the late James Corbett Cochran, Jr. for 75 years, and the daughter of the late Emma Petty Coleman and Curtis Eugene Coleman, Sr. 

She is survived by a daughter, Marie Cochran High, two grandsons, Jeffrey, Jason (Julie), a special nephew Lewis Coleman (Lu), nephew John Bryant (Penny), niece Sara Emma Jones (George), and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings Alfred, Curtis, Clyde, Archie, and Elizabeth. 

Helen, affectionately known as “Mema”, was truly a wonderful person and lived a life of exceptional character and high moral standards. She was always thinking of others and loved her family very much. She was a faithful member of Pacolet First Baptist Church. 

A private graveside service will be held at Pacolet First Baptist Church Cemetery.
