Hugo H. Godoy

Hugo H. Godoy Moore, Hugo H. Godoy, husband of Mary Ellen Rash Godoy, died Friday, June 29th, 2018. Hugo was born on March 10, 1941, to Eugenio and Leiden Godoy in Guatemala City, Guatemala.    Educated at Georgia Tech and meeting his wife of 56 years, lead to them raising a family in Spartanburg SC. Hugo is survived by his wife, two sons, Hugo D. Godoy of Spartanburg and Steven P. Godoy (Lana) of Williamsburg VA. He was blessed with grandchildren, Preston, Jake, and Alaina who were the light of his life. The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM on the 5th of July at Dunbar Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Walnut Grove Methodist Church, 1335 Walnut Grove Rd, Roebuck, SC, 29376 or Spartanburg Regional Hospice.
