Imer Gean Woody

Roebuck, SC- Imer Gean Woody, 67, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023.

Born September 12, 1955 in Spartanburg, SC, Imer Gean was a daughter of the late Lonnie Henry Woody and Dolly Lucille Burnett Woody. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, class of 1975.

Imer Gean’s bliss was tending her garden, caring for her plants, and enjoying the sunshine. 

She is survived by her brothers, Lonnie “L.G.” Woody (Diane), Jimmy Woody, Arthur Woody (Donna), and Alfort Woody (Tina); her sisters, Betty Jean Poteat, Lucille Pulliam; sister in-law, Marie Woody; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Alvin Woody.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 29th, 11:00-11:45AM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at 12:00PM.

Burial will be held in Poplar Springs Baptist Church cemetery.
