James Donald Gilfillan

Roebuck, SC- James Donald Gilfillan, 63, husband of Lisa Easler Gilfillan, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

Born July 25, 1959 in Spartanburg, SC, Donnie was the son of the late Harold Fletcher Gilfillan and Betty White Gilfillan. He was a 1977 graduate of Dorman High School. Donnie then went on to work and owned the family business, Roebuck Roofing and Construction Company, Inc.

Donnie was a loving, Christian husband and father, devoted to his family. He led his family in their faith and was a longtime member of Solid Rock Church. Along with being a devoted family man, he was a NASCAR enthusiast and avid Carolina Gamecock and Panthers fan.

In addition to his wife, Lisa, Donnie is survived by his son, James Madison Gilfillan; his daughter, Alexis Faith Gilfillan; a granddaughter, Callie Grace Gilfillan; brothers, Harold Gilfillan (Linda) and Freddie Gilfillan; and a sister, Gina G. Coleman (Buttons); in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 21st, 5-7PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 22nd, 2:00PM at Solid Rock Church.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
