James Wayne "Bill" Gribbin

James Wayne "Bill" Gribbin, 93, of Spartanburg, SC passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024. Born in Corpus Christi, TX on March 28, 1931, he was son of the late John and Majorie Allman Gribbin. 

He served in the US Marine Corps during WWII and the US Air Force during the Korean War.

Bill is survived by his wife of 46 years, Verna Dunker Gribbin; 3 sons and 1 daughter, Virgil Gribbin (Shary), Sharon Welch (Terell), Todd Gribbin (Mary Anne), and Ross Gribbin (Jackie); 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and his puppy Maverick.

He will be interred at the National Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ where his children reside at a later date.
