James Carlton Peeler

Pauline, SC- James Carlton Peeler, 72, husband of Mary Louise Gregg Peeler, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Born April 10, 1949 in the Walnut Grove community of Spartanburg, SC, Jimmy was a son of the late Carter Daniel and Lou Ellen O’Shields Peeler. He was a master craftsman and builder with a meticulous eye and a steady hand. Jimmy was quite the jokester and was known for his jovial spirit. He loved his family and his Lord immensely and found his joy in helping others. In addition to his wife, Jimmy is survived by his son, James Scott Peeler (Tricia) and their children, Kosha Shirley (Chris) and Kensly Peeler; a son, Anthony Carlton Peeler (Angela) and their daughter, Miranda Peeler; a daughter, Gina Lynn Peeler; a son, James Daniel Peeler (Lori) and their children, Jacob, Landon, and Abby Peeler; and daughter, Carla Peeler Nelson (Cale) and their children, Eli, Luke, Mary Caidyn, Milam, and Zoe Belle Nelson; and great grandchildren, Nathan, Nick, Noah, Emory, and Madi The family will receive friends Saturday, November 13th, 10:00 – 10:45AM at Friendship Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM, officiated by Pastor Curtis Terry. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. The family will be at the home.
