James Jerry Seay

Spartanburg, SC- Jerry Seay, 83, husband of Gloria Condrey Seay, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. Born June 20, 1934 in Pacolet Mills, SC, Jerry was the son of the late DeWitt Talmadge and Mary Roselle Hodge Seay. He retired after many years of service from Piedmont Natural Gas. Jerry was a handyman whose talent was demonstrated in his work, as well as his beautiful yard. He loved his John Deere Tractor and his Jeep, but he loved his family more. Jerry was a longtime member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where he served as a past Deacon. In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by his daughters, Cindy Seay Gregory (Mark) of Moore, SC and Julie Condrey Webber (Brent) of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Cameron Stober, Courtney Lehr, Madison Gregory, Jacob Webber, and Nate Webber; and a sister, Carolyn O’Dell (Don). The family will receive friends Sunday, November 5th, 2-3PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3PM, officiated by Reverend Jim Oliver and Reverend Joe Burnett.
