Spartanburg – Janet (Jeannette) Jones Fox, 84, wife of Robert E. Fox, died Sunday, October 10, 2021.

Janet was born on March 18, 1937 to the late George William and Doris Mimms Jackson. She was a past President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 9539 and also a past President of Women’s Auxiliary MOC.

In addition to her husband, Janet is survived by two sons, Mark A. Jones, William P. Jones; daughter, Kimberly M. Spalsbury; brother, Henry Stoneham; sister, Doris Landry; six grandchildren, Jared Jones, William Jones, Madison Jones, Lindsay Jones, Daktar Jones, Hayden Spalsbury; and brother-in-law, James Hall.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Georginna Hall and Dorothy Brown.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Dunbar Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
