Jason Carlton Pack

November 9, 1973 — December 15, 2021

Spartanburg, SC- Jason Carlton Pack, 48, loving son of Judy Bullington and Fred Pack, Jr. (Dottie), died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.

He was born November 9, 1973 and graduate from Dorman High School.

Jason was loving, kind, compassionate, protective, and a great son, brother, grandson, father, cousin, and friend. He was loyal to a fault. Jason loved doing things for others and would give you the shirt from his back. His big heart and willingness to help others will be lovingly remembered by the many friends he leaves behind. He valued his friends beyond measure.

He knew everybody!  He loved woodworking, making jewelry, and crafting with his mom. Jason had many nicknames amongst his friends: Jawan, JJ, Packman, Ol’ Buddy, etc…He talked frequently about the days at the lake and how much fun the family had together there.

Jason loved taking care of his mother and her dog, Lucy, and his NaNa. He was a caring, loving, and nurturing son, and would do anything to make someone feel better.

He had a smile, so bright and beautiful, and a contagious laugh you would never forget. Jason loved making people happy and this world is a better place because of him.

Jason had a serious medical condition for the last several months which he fought against, demonstrating his courage and his will to survive. But, God delivered him from his pain, “No more pain, just glory.” His family will miss his jokes, his laughter, and his pranks but we know that he will keep it going with his grandparents and friends in Heaven.

In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his brothers, Clayton Pack, Christopher Pack, and Chip Bright (Dana); his daughter, Jannie; the love of his life, Stacy O’Shields; and his maternal grandmother, Betty Tollison.
