Jeremy Scott Duncan of Roebuck, SC passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at the age of 51. He was born October 6, 1973 in Spartanburg to Faye H. Melton and the late Donnie Duncan.
After graduating from Dorman High School, Jeremy began his career with BMW in Spartanburg, where he devoted 29 years of his life to a variety of roles, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues. A man of unwavering faith, Jeremy’s life was deeply rooted in his relationship with God, and he was a dedicated member of Stone Station Baptist Church, where his presence and service touched many lives.
Jeremy was truly a rare soul, a unique and irreplaceable spirit. His greatest pride and joy came from his family, whom he cherished above all else. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a doting grandfather— the cornerstone of their lives and a constant source of love, strength, and guidance. His loyalty and dependability were unmatched, and his honesty was as admirable as it was unyielding, though his occasional stubbornness was just part of his charm.
An avid outdoorsman, Jeremy had a passion for adventure and the beauty of nature. In everything from hunting to scuba diving, he embraced every opportunity to immerse himself in the world around him, finding joy and peace in each moment spent outdoors.
He leaves behind many who will miss him, including his wife, Jennifer Duncan; children, Courtney Duncan (Erik Caddell), Caitlin Bond (Kelby), Cameron Smith, and Dylan Smith; grandchildren, Ryleigh, Addison, Ellie Reese, and Henlie Joyce; and siblings, Michelle Wardat and Justin Melton.
Visitation will be from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM , Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the J.M. Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Road, Roebuck, SC 29376. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm in the chapel, conducted by Rev. Jackie Bridwell. Burial will immediately follow in Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 South Church Ext. Roebuck, South Carolina 29376.
