Jerry Hardy Smith

Roebuck, SC- Jerry Hardy Smith, 75, husband of Annette Collins Smith, died Saturday, August 5, 2017. Born February 7, 1942 in Spartanburg, SC, Jerry was a son of the late William Bernard and Ruby J. White Smith. He was a member of the Roebuck Masonic Lodge  357 and Bethlehem Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by his daughter, Dr. Jerianne Taylor (Chad) of Boone, NC; grandchildren, Matt, Molly, and Montgomery Cate; a brother, Randy “Bo” Smith (Jane) of Spartanburg, SC; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, JoAnn Miller, Bernard, Hugh Lane, and Susan Smith. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 8th, 3PM at Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church, officiated by Reverend Larry Ledford. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the burial in the Family Life Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, Food Pantry, P O Box 229, Roebuck, SC 29376 or to Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church, Cemetery Enhancement Fund, P O Box 279, Pauline, SC 29374.
