John Scott Adams

Gastonia, NC- John Scott Adams, 63, husband of Sharon Steitman Adams, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 after suffering from a long term illness due to bone cancer.

Born May 3, 1958 in Spartanburg, SC, John was a son of the late Dr. Fredrick Fletcher Adams, Jr. and the late Doris G. Adams. He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, class of 1976 and honorably served his country in the US Navy, having served six years. For the most recent 23 years, he and his wife, Sharon, have resided in Gastonia, NC.

In addition to his wife, Sharon, of more than 26 years, he is survived by a large circle of loving friends and family.

A service to celebrate John’s life will be announced after the new year.

John was loved by many and will be missed by many.
