John Gregory Mileski

John Gregory Mileski, 73, widower of the late Roberta Micheline Rodkey Mileski, died Tuesday, August 6, 2024. 

He was born on February 21, 1951 to the late Leo J. and Anna F. Mileski. John was a devoted family man and servant of the Lord, and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, ELCA. 

John is survived by his son, Gregory Mileski (Jennifer) of Boston, MA; daughters, Rosanne Bernstein (Michael) of Spartanburg, SC and Rachel Mileski of Spartanburg, SC; five grandchildren, Benjamin Bernstein (Courtney), Nathaniel Bernstein, Marissa Bernstein, Leo Mileski, and Lena Mileski; and great-granddaughter, Isabella Bernstein. He is also survived by two brothers, Thomas Mileski (Kelly) and Edward Mileski; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:45pm on Saturday, August 10, 2024 in the fellowship hall of St. John’s Lutheran Church, 415 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.

Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm in the church sanctuary, officiated by the Rev. Heather Apel and the Rev. Wade Apel. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 2701, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
