Inman, SC- Joseph Carter Robinson, 12, son of Joseph Len and Lakesha Shirl Robinson, left this world and joined the Grand Choir in Heaven on Monday, July 10, 2017. On February 15, 2005, our kind, sweet, and compassionate boy with a heart of gold was born. Carter was a lover of history and had a fond appreciation of all things classical; making him an old soul who was wise far beyond his years. He was a rising 7th grade student at Dawkins Middle School where he was a member of the Honor Chorus, Chamber Orchestra, and Art Visions program. He was also an active 3rd year participant of the First Tee of Spartanburg. He was a faithful and proud member of Mountain View Baptist Church of Cowpens, SC where he was actively involved with the church youth choir. In addition to his parents, Carter is survived by his sister Caroline Robinson ;maternal great-grandmother, Shirley Brown; maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Rita Hutcherson Brown; paternal grandparents, James and Renee Robinson; aunt, Haley Brown; uncles, Tim Robinson (Meredith) and Travis Robinson (Angie); and cousins, Madeline, Lauren, Micah, Sarah, Brennan, and Seth Robinson. The family will receive friends Friday, July 14th, from 5:30pm-7:30pm, at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 15th. Carter will lie in state from 10:00am -11:00am at his church. His funeral will be held at 11:00am, at Mountain View Baptist Church in Cowpens, officiated by Pastor Steven Griffith.
