Joyce Lane Bobo

Joyce Lane Bobo, 85, of Pauline, SC, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones at Upstate Community Hospice House.

Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Elbert Lorn Lane, Sr. And Evelyn Suddeth Lane; a brother, Elbert (Buddy) Lorn Lane, Jr.; her husband, Charles Brooks Bobo, Sr.; and a great grandchild, Charlie Jett.

She is survived by her sons, Chuck Bobo (Chris) of Pauline SC and Mike Bobo (Carla) of Moore SC; a daughter, Lisa B. Klein (Toshio) of Inman SC; grandchild, Melissa Jett (John) of Charlotte NC; and a great-grandchild, Jackson Jett.

Joyce was born in Inman SC and was a graduate of Spartanburg High School. She was an administrative assistant with Indian Head Mills in Spartanburg SC for many years.  She retired after years of service from Lancaster Paint Sundries in Pauline.

Joyce was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Monday, April 3rd at 12:00 o’clock noon. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.
