Judith Weiler Hollis

Judith “Judie” Weiler Hollis, 86, died on June 20, 2023 in Spartanburg, SC.

Born in Norfolk VA, on November 17, 1936, Judie was the daughter of the late Rear Admiral James B. Weiler, USN(Ret.), and the late Dorothy B. Weiler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, C. Myers Hollis.
Judie grew up in San Diego, CA, attending Francis Parker School. She also attended Flintridge Academy in Pasadena, CA. as a boarding student. Later, she attended Depauw University in Greencastle, IN. Judie was a Sustaining member of the Junior League of Spartanburg as well as a member of Skylyn Drive Presbyterian Church.

Judie is survived by two sons, Charles “Chappy” M. Hollis, Jr. and James “Jimbo” B. Hollis and seven grandchildren, Caleb, Lydia, Natalie, Hope, Charlie, Jake, and Jeremiah.

Judie will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Union, SC.
