Spartanburg, SC- Karen Emma Frigon Fudge, 81, wife of David Munro Fudge, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023.
Born April 1, 1942 in Detroit, MI, Karen was a daughter of the late Frank Desmond Frigon and Kathleen Virginia Kline Frigon. She was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Advent in Spartanburg.
Karen was a gifted homemaker and kindergarten teacher for years after honorably serving her country in the US Air Force. She volunteered her time as a Guardian ad Litem, Altar Guild Directress, and was President and member of the Daughters of the King ministry at The Episcopal Church of the Advent.
In addition to her husband of 60 years, Karen is survived by her son, Christopher Munro Fudge of Castle Rock, CO; her daughter, Patricia Fudge Bowman of Simpsonville, SC; grandchildren, Cody Thomas Bowman, Noah Graydon Bowman, Samuel William Bowman, and Katherine Isabel Fudge; two great grandchildren, Baylor Thomas Bowman and Adeline Irene Monks; and two sisters, Patricia Frigon Tasich of Michigan and Elizabeth Frigon Sciolino of Florida.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 25th, 3:00PM at The Episcopal Church of the Advent, officiated by The Reverend Ned Morris, The Reverend Paula Griffin, and The Reverend Dr. Clay Turner. The family will receive friends following in the Parish and Community Life Center.
