Kathryn Biddle Harrison

Inman, SC- Kathryn Biddle Harrison, 81, wife of James I. Harrison, III, died Sunday, February 14, 2021. Born November 13, 1939 in Millport, AL, she was the daughter of the late William Harvey and Onnie Rae Belk Biddle. Personally, Kathryn had a zest for life and a love of people. She was top notch as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Academically, Kathryn graduated from Millport High School and received BS and MLS degrees from the University of Alabama. Vocationally, Kathryn was both a classroom teacher of Home Economics, English, and Special Ed Math, and a School Librarian. Avocationally, Kathryn was a wonderful story teller. In addition to her husband of 60 years, James I. Harrison, III, Kathryn is survived by one son, Wes Harrison (Donna); one daughter, Lisa DeFreitas (Pablo); and three grandchildren, Deanna DeFreitas, Tanner DeFreitas, and Kaelan Harrison. Funeral services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church of Spartanburg in the late spring or early summer.
