Katie Evelyn Parris White

Whitestone, SC- Katie Evelyn Thomas White, 85, passed peacefully in her home on Tuesday, August 15, 2017. She was a native of Mill Springs, NC and was predeceased by her parents Dewey and Della Mae Parris, her husband Henry Thomas Sr., and her sisters Sue Collins, Merle Phillips and Lorene Owens. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Henry and Denise Thomas and Cindy and Terry Despard; her grandchildren Jesse Thomas, Katie Rush and Phillip and Derek Despard; and her great grandchildren Austin Despard and Henry Rush. She was a member of First Baptist Spartanburg.  Visitation will be at Dunbar Funeral Home Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 10:30 am with service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial.
