Kenneth Taylor

Spartanburg, SC – K.E. Taylor, 80, husband of Judith Gowan, died Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born December 21, 1937 in Spartanburg, SC, K.E. was the son of the late Wilbur Earl and Louise Shackleford Taylor. He attended Fairforest High School and worked for CSX Transportation for many years. In his spare time, K. E. could be found farming or bowling. He was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Judith, K. E. is survived by his son, Ronald E. Taylor and his wife, Kathleen, and their children, Brandon and Zachary Taylor; his daughter, LouEllen T. Speer and her husband, Robert, and their children, Amber Yopp, Stephen Medford, Alexander Speer, Adam Medford, and Ashley Shuhart; thirteen great grandchildren; and his sister, Becky T. Towner and her husband, Orrin. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 2nd, 3:00PM in Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the graveside following the service.
