Leola Delores Armstrong

Spartanburg, SC- Leola Delores Leppla Armstrong, 93, wife of the late Robert Eugene Armstrong, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

Born November 30,1929 in Lima, OH, Leola was a daughter of the late Carl and Blanche Leppla. She is the last surviving of their eight children.

Leola is survived by her daughters, Nancy Barton and her husband, Perry, of Spartanburg, SC and Candy Smith and her husband, Dwight, of Greer, SC; grandchildren, David Stevens, Blake Barton, Ashley Hunt and her husband, Ryan, and Courtney Batson and her husband, Brandon; nine great grandchildren, Tyler and Felicitie Stevens, Cotton and Woody Barton, Coleman, Bennett, and Avery Batson, Harper and McKayla Hunt.

Graveside memorial services will be held Sunday, April 23^rd, 1:00PM in Heritage Memorial Gardens, officiated by Reverend Dr. Todd Lowe.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gibbs Cancer Center, 101 E. Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
