Leonard Anthony Zawacki

Leonard Anthony Zawacki, 87, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Woodland Place.

Born on November 7, 1936 in Philadelphia , PA. He was the son of the late William James Zawacki and the late Frances Bart Zawacki. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Leonard worked as a long-haul truck driver.

Leonard was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Leonard attended church at Fairforest Church of God where he often volunteered in the Food Bank Ministry. Leonard was an active member and volunteer of the American Legion.

Surviving is his wife of 17 years, Geraldine Guy Zawacki; his daughters Emily Zawacki and Helen Goldhom, his step-son Eddie DeWeese(Julie), his step-daughter Debbie Leonard(Charlie), numerous grand-children, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Leonard was preceded in death by his son, Leonard Zawacki Jr., his sister Marie Beck, and brother William Zawacki.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Campobello, SC. Pastor John Petty and Pastor Kris Kilgore will be officiating. Following the service the family will receive friends at the grave side.
