Spartanburg, SC- Linda Lee Crowe, 58, beloved wife of Jimmy Crowe, died Saturday, August 5, 2017. Linda Dale Lee Crowe was born October 14, 1958 to the late Eula and Leon Lee. Her father, Leon, passed away when she was 8 years old, and she was raised by her loving stepfather, the late Roy M. Lee. She was a graduate of Dorman High School, Class of 1976, and worked in the offices of Spartanburg Medical Center and then with Community Long Term Care. Linda was a member of Powell Presbyterian Church. She was an avid camper who loved the mountains. Linda enjoyed taking Caribbean cruises with her husband and traveling to Myrtle Beach, spending time at her beach house in Ocean Lakes. However, one of her greatest loves was caring for her four-legged babies, her dogs and cats, rescuing as many as she could. In addition to Jimmy, the love of her life, Linda is survived by her beloved son, Chad Hyder (Deanne); stepdaughter, Amy Morgan (Derek); her four grandchildren, whom she adored, Braxton Lee Hyder, Mabry Morgan, Jackson Morgan, and Dalton Lipsey; her sister, Diane Lee Dixon (Russ); niece, Teresa Dill (Greg); sister in-law, Melody Gilliland (Greg); brother in-law, Ricky Crowe (Laurie); and a large number of great nieces and nephews who loved their Mimi very much. She was predeceased by a nephew, Christopher Fortner. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 8th, 11AM in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Church Sanctuary.
