Linda Hackler Ring

Linda Hackler Ring, 75, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family as she was ushered into the arms of Jesus.

Born in Galax, Virginia, Linda was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Elizabeth Hackler. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Mimi who cherished her family dearly. Linda was a dedicated servant of the Lord, and a member of Roebuck Baptist Church for 40 years. Her faith and kindness touched many lives. She never met a stranger and cared deeply for everyone she encountered. The world was better with her in it.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Clyde; her daughters, Beth Meadows (Alex) and Kim Helle (Corey); her sister, Jackie Edwards (Wade); her grandchildren, Megan Huskey (Drew), A.J. Meadows (Melanie), Maggie, Lucas, and Abbey Helle; and her great-grandchildren, Barry, Meadow, D.J., and Sonnie Huskey. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews, whom she loved.

Linda was an avid golfer and sports fan. She loved watching her grandkids compete and always cheered for the Dorman Cavaliers. Linda also enjoyed spending time with her sewing club.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd, at 1:00 PM at Roebuck Baptist Church, followed by a celebration of her life at 3:00 PM. Interment will immediately follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Roebuck Baptist Church, Child Evangelism Fellowship, or Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System Hospice House.
