Linda Hensley Rowland

Spartanburg, SC- Linda Hensley Rowland, 70, wife of Barry Lawrence Rowland, died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born August 21, 1947 in Brevard, NC, Linda was the daughter of Frankie Jean Galloway McElrath and the late James Franklin Hensley. She was a graduate of Wade Hampton High School, class of 1965, and an Honors graduate of the University of South Carolina. Linda served as Chief Financial Officer at Doctors Memorial Hospital prior to her retirement. In addition to her mother and loving husband of 52 years, Linda is survived by her daughter, Ashley Rowland-Riccio; and beloved grandson, T. J. Owens. Linda was predeceased by her stepfather, Paul McElrath; and her brother, Larry K. Hensley. Services will be private.
