Lisa Cogdill Barnwell

Lisa Cogdill Barnwell, 65, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023. Born on July 29, 1958, she was the daughter of Talmadge and Amelia Splawn (Pete) and Norman Greene. Lisa was employed by District 7 Schools until retirement. She is survived by her husband, Byron Barnwell; daughter, Maddie Cogdill; and ex-daughter-in-law, Miranda. She also leaves behind two sisters, Donna Greene Bumgarner of Boiling Springs, SC, and Tyra Ramsey of Cross, SC; brother, Norman Greene, Jr. (Jennifer) of Grand Haven, MI; granddaughter, her precious Penelope Cogdill; 7 nieces, 4 nephews, and one great-niece. Celebration of life will be 6:30 pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 at Carter’s Steak & Seafood, 8350 Highway 9, Inman, SC 29349. The family is at the home of her sister, Donna, in Boiling Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lisa’s honor to the charity on one’s choice.
