Lois Ruth Johnson

Lois Ruth Johnson, age 78, of Spartanburg, SC passed away on Sunday, August 20th, 2023, at her home. 

Born in Endicott, NY on January 31, 1945, to Frank and Ruth Cramer, she was the wife of Ralph Lee Johnson. Lois graduated from Vestal High School in 1963. During her professional career, she held a number of clerical positions. During retirement, she was a proud volunteer at St. Luke’s Free Medical Clinic. She will be remembered for her love of God, her love of family, and her love of music (and chocolate). She was a member of Walnut Grove Global Methodist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Ken Cramer. 

She is survived by her husband, Ralph; her, daughter, Ann Johnson McIntyre; her, son and daughter in-law, Steve and Sandy Johnson; three grandsons, Nicholas, Kyle, and Luke McIntyre. She also leaves behind a vast number of extended family members and friends who will carry her memory with them always. 

A receiving of friends will be held at Walnut Grove Global Methodist Church on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 10:00am with the funeral to follow at 11:00am. The funeral will be conducted by Rev. Chris Snelgrove.
